My family and I are planning a trip to Disneyworld from New York with airfare (or train or bus if that's cheaper), hotel stay, Disney tickets, and we'll probably buy Universal Studios tickets separately. 8 to 10 people are going on this trip so we're planning to split ourselves into a two-family group. What are the cheapest packages out there? Or where did you get a good Disney package deal from (around July or August)?

Also, what airline has the cheapest fare for Atlanta from NY?

Thanks for all your help!|||I just booked the Disney free dining promo for Sept but it starts the very end of Aug. Jul and Aug are typically very busy. I use a Disney specialist to book all my trips too. They are located in New York and if you want their contact info just email me (I got a violation email last time I gave out her email in the answer!) She would be able to set up a grand gathering group for you and also take care of your dining reservations and itinerary planning with you. Have fun planning!|||There are some discounts on Disney Travel as well as travel to Universal Orlando.

I would suggest that you use a travel agency that specializes in both Disney and Universal. I have used http://www.mousefan.travel/mft/index.php several times and I think that they're pretty good. They also know a lot of about Universal Orlando.|||You will find numerous cheap air tickets seekers in this economic time. I am also one of them. So always keep searching on web to find out the best & cheap air ticket providers. Then finally I got BookingWiz.com to book my Atlanta trip(Business Trip) at very low rate. Along with cheap flights, I got special discount offers.

Have a Nice holidays !|||I'm sorry, I don't know about Disney packages. But I thought you should know that the Atlanta airport is about ten hours away from DisneyWorld, which is in Orlando. You should fly into Orlando instead. :)|||go on the WDW web site. You can plug in dates, resorts and ticket options to see prices.|||Prices would be:

Hotel: You have a couple options. I would suggest getting either 2 rooms or a large room which will fit all of you. If you stay in a large room, you would have to stay in a deluxe hotel because they are the only type to fit a party as large as yours. The large rooms are called 2 bedroom suites. They have two bedrooms, a sitting area, 2 bathrooms, and ceiling fans. The first bedroom has a king sized bed and the second has 2 queens sized beds or 1 queen and a bunk bed. The parlor has a pull out sofa. They entire room can sleep all of you. Since this a large room you will get really nice amenties like evening turndown with chocolates, keys to the Club Lounge, health club access, and delievery of US Today. These rooms are currently available at Animal Kingdom Lodge for $12384, Grand Flordian for $15,032 or at Saratoga Springs for $6,948. You could to multi room which wouldn't be as nice... you would still have to stay at a deluxe resort and when you are booking you have to request that the rooms be near each other or have connecting doors.

Tickets: Assuming you are staying for 7 days ( if your staying for more you can look at the sources), the prices would be $35 for adult (ages 10 and up) and $32 for child. That is a base ticket which lets you only go to one park per day. With park hopper, allowing you to go to 2 or more parks per day the price would be $43 for adult and $40 for child. With water park and more option, allowing you to go to the waterparks and Disneyquest, the price would be $43 for adult and $39 for child. If you want both, it would be $50 for adult and $47 for child.

Actually, it would be way cheaper to stay as one group instead of a two family group. If you did want to break up into groups, you would have to stay at sepreate resorts which I wouldn't want to do.

Universal tickets - The price for adults for a 2 day pass is $135 and kids are $122.|||Airtran and Spirit Air usually have the cheapest plane tickets.

If you want to stay in a Disney hotel, then the first two weeks of December is going to be your cheapest time to go. You can usually get a value Disney hotel room (All Star Movies, All Star Music, All Star Sports, & Pop Century) for about $80-$90 a night. If you want to stay off Disney property then there are a lot of good hotels and motels in the immediate area. Just go to a travel website like Orbitz and you can search for them there. I just wouldn't recommend booking your hotel through a travel website. All of the Disney hotels provide a free bus service to all of the Disney parks, water parks, and hotel. Most of the non Disney hotels also offer a bus service to the parks. There really isn't anyplace beside the actual Disney website where you can purchase tickets and package from. BUT, that doesn't mean that Disney never runs specials. They sometimes around this time of year offer a deal where purchase so many nights in one of their hotels for a stay in August or September, they give you a free Dining Plan. That means you get a free counter service meal, a free dinner service meal, and a free snack for each day of your visit. So I would recommend looking into that. If you stay in a Disney hotel they will also take you to and from the airport for free. Upon arrival they will also go and get your bags for you off the carousel. Staying in a Disney hotel really does have it's perks. They also have a thing called Extra Magic Hours, where if you stay in their hotel, on certain nights the parks stay open late and only guests of the hotels can stay in the park. That means much shorter lines.

I hope this helps some! Have fun!
