Have a great time!|||If you are making Disney reservations, look no further than the Disney website, www.disneyworld.com. I know that you can get Disney deals all over the place, however buyer beware! Those deals are less expensive for a reason. First of all, no matter what you are told staying on site IS A MUST. If you do not stay on the grounds at a Disney hotel, you are not able to take advantage of the perks for Disney resort guests. They offer Extra magic hours, where one of the parks is open early and one late for resort guests only. Also, if a park is crowded on a particular day, they may restrict entrance to that park. If you are a resort guest, there is no restrictions for entering. I acutally saw this my last trip. I was entering the Magic Kingdom, and there was a line to get in. The people being held up were non-resort guests, and boy let me tell you they were upset. Another perk is the use of the Disney transportation system. The other hotels all have shuttles, but in many cases either it costs extra or you have to stay on their schedule. With the Disney resorts there is no more than a 10 minute wait for a bus back to your resort, no matter which one you are in.

I always book the reservations myself, as I have a hard time paying someone else to do it for me. By doing it yourself you save money, and the site is easy to use. You can go on the Disney website and do a resort comparison, check flights, and get park passes all in one. If you are like me and really paranoid, you can get all the info you need, then call them and the cast members who do the booking are very helpful.

When getting your park passes, make sure to get the Park Hopper option for your passes. It costs a little bit more, but you basically can then come and go as you please to whichever park you want. Like I stated before, if the Magic Kingdom is crowded on a particular day, you can shift gears, jump on the Monorail and go to Epcot. Without the Park hopper option you CAN NOT do this. My family and I like to go to different parks each day, like Epcot in the am, and MGM for the light show in the evening. Without the park hopper option, it is not possible.

If you need any more info, I would recommend picking up the Birnbaum's guide to WDW from the local bookstore. There are plenty of guide books out there, but that one has always worked the best for us. Also, there is a Birnbaum's guide that if For Kids by Kids. I always pick up that book and let the kids decide what the must see attractions are for them. It makes planning the trip that much more fun when everyone is involved. Also, if you have questions, please feel free to ask. I don't work for any travel agency or get paid to answer, I just love talking to people about Disney and all it has to offer. In fact, I am taking my wife and kids along with the in-laws to Disney in three weeks, and we can't wait!!

Have fun!

Have a great trip and fun time planning!|||www.disneyvactions.com|||orbitz, or mousesavers.com~~~
