I'm thirteen, and I was wondering if I could buy a greyhound ticket and travel alone without a parent.
and please don't tell me to check the website, because I know my Dad will see it.
Thanks.|||You would not be able to make that trip on Greyhound. Kids under 15 cannot take a trip on Greyhound that is more than 5 hours long or includes a change of buses. The trip you want to make is way too long and would include transfers.|||you can travel alone, but there are rules that come with it.
since you're going alone you have to sign a form & you have to have someone meet you at your arrival. here's the rules (copied and pasted from the site) :

The unaccompanied child must not transfer from one coach to another.
The trip must begin and terminate on the same schedule. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Unaccompanied minors must have an Unaccompanied Child Form completed for them. An Unaccompanied Child Form must be filled in for each direction of travel (round trip would require two completed forms).
The child must be met at the destination station by the person specified on the Unaccompanied Child Form.
If two or more children between the ages of eight and 14 are travelling together (without a passenger 15 years of age or older) each child must have a completed Unaccompanied Child Form.
All travel must be completed by 2200 hours (10:00 pm)
Under no circumstances should any child be bumped on any trip. This also includes bumping the child onto an overload.
The destination terminal/agency must be open upon arrival.
The schedule trip should not exceed five (5) hours in duration.
The unaccompanied child and the parent/guardian should be at the terminal at least 40 minutes before departure.
A fee of $5.00 plus tax will be assessed for each child traveling unaccompanied.

oh ya, i'm just adding, if this has anything to do with running away, don't. it's NOT a good solution.|||Your dad will be able to check this website too, and see your questions and answers.

Honestly, running away isn't the answer. If you need help, find it. Trying to get away from your dad is only going to give you more problems. It's best to either learn to deal with the problems or confront them.|||they wont let you travel alone on the bus you have to have your parents come with you,and it's strangers on they bus and they might trick you and say that this is your stop but it isn't.

jamaican princess|||why are u trying to run away?
