I was planning on going to canada. I had a place to stay with a friend and a greyhound ticket for 3 days from now but then i looked at my passport and it says it expired in april 2011. Im freaking out i don't know what to do. I was gunna take it to the post office tomarrow. I read online that it takes like a month to get a new one. Does anybody knwo what I can do?|||You're planning a trip TO Canada and find that you have an expired passport. Presumably you're an American although you don't specify. Why would you think Canadians can give you good advice about an inability to obtain a US passport. you could be contacting your own officials or at the least asking this question in a US venue, not a Canadian one. You can get it expedited in about a week for an extra $65.|||Get a refund for your Greyhound ticket. Get your passport (takes about 3 months) and then reschedule.
