I visited Dec. 13th 09, the day after I got married in the U.S. to my husband who is Canadian but they gave me a very hard time passing on the greyhound, the sent me back to the U.S. where I had documents faxed to me in Buffalo. Hours after my first try the next custom officer agreed to let me in Canada but this time it will be harder since I now have no ties to the U.S. but my question is if I take the chance of flying to Ottawa and getting denied and have a return greyhound ticket will they let me travel to the greyhound or what will happen, someone please help, I can't anyone to help me on this|||think about this for, say, 30 seconds.

how do you get from the airport to the Greyhound? Will they send an immigration officer to escort you?

and will they also have one sitting on the bus with you till you reach the US border, to make sure you don't jump off the bus somewhere?

If you are deemed inadmissible to Canada, they will make the airline that brought you in, take you back out again|||if they deny you entry at the airport they will not let you leave the airport to catch the bus,you will have to fly|||What is your nationality? If you are American, then you should have a US passport and you can visit in Canada for up to six months with nothing further required. During that time you can start the application process to become a permanent resident in Canada, if that is what you want to do.
If you are not American, you should have a passport from whatever nation you are from.
If you fly to Ottawa, you will have to go through customs and immigration BEFORE you get on the plane, so once you are on the plane you won't have any problems. And if you are turned back at the airport before you get on the plane, you are still in the US so you won't have any problems there.|||If you attempt to enter Canada, and are refused, the airline has to pay to get you back. That is why airlines go squirrelly about ID! They are much tougher than Customs (normally) as they do not want the extra costs. Normally, you would clear customs before boarding the plane as well (depending on the airport), so that if you actually get on the plane, you should have little or no problem upon arriving in Canada.

However, just being married to a Canadian is not an automatic by into the country, especially to live. You still have to go through the regular immigration process. Being married to a Canadian might make it a bit easier, but you cannot just come up to Canada and start living with him.
