Ok im trying to ride a greyhound from dallas to memphis for spring break (cant afford plane tickets at this point, because i waited to long) anyways, Im trying to purchase a ticket on thier website.

theres 4 fares

web only fare - $160.16
advanced purchase - $136.00
standard fare - $182.00
refundable - $203.00

if im trying to buy the ticket from the site do i have to click web only fare??? but im confused, because i want to save money, and i was wondering if i can buy the advanced fare online?

also, how do i get the ticket if i purchase online? if there is more than one way, which one do you reccomend?

thanks|||If you have entered the date of travel, it offers "advance purchase", and it lets you select it鈥攖hen take it! If you try to accept the rate and it won't let you, then you have your answer. The only downside might be the ability to get a refund if you decide not to travel.

I don't know about Greyhound specifically, but advance purchase for trains and planes usually means two plus weeks in advance. For a March travel date, that seems reasonable.
