Other than that, the ONLY discounts Greyhound offers are senior discounts, military discounts, and sometimes they have a special where you can get a discount if you bring a friend with you. But definitely book online, don't book over the phone. They tend to have the best deals on their website at greyhound.com Also, keep in mind that just by purchasing a ticket doesn't guarantee you a seat on the particular bus you would like to take. Therefore, make sure you're at the NYC Port Authority about an hour before your departure time so you can get a seat and not have to wait for the next scheduled bus.
