Yesterday i went to buy a round trip ticket from Los Angeles to Chicago, but they gave me a total of 4 tickets, one is from L.A to Denver, the other one is from Denver to Omaha, and from Omaha to Chicago, and well the last one is from Chicago to L.A. Does that mean that i will have to aboard another bus in Denver and Omaha? I'm kind of confused, this is my first time traveling by bus and by myself. I would really appreciate if anyone could help me out. Thank you.|||Maybe, but not necessarily. It depends on which time you travel. For example, if you leave Los Angeles on May 2 on bus 1312 (which is scheduled to leave Los Angeles at 8:12 a.m. and arrives in Denver at 7:25 a.m. the next morning), then you transfer in Denver to bus 120 to Omaha, and then transfer in Omaha to bus 4816 to Chicago. But if you leave Los Angeles on May 2 on bus 1302, then you transfer in Denver to bus 1402 which goes all the way to Chicago, so you do not need to transfer in Omaha. (You could also just stay on bus 1302 to Chicago, but it goes by a less direct route, so you would arrive later, and might need a different ticket.)|||yes that mostly like the case
also why didn't you ask the agent when you got the tickets? wouldn't he would have answered your question
also i don't recommend greyhound they are bound to screwed you up eventually
either with a very crowed bus or the restroom, will be out of order or the driver will get lost and not
speak anny english and the bus will breakdown
also if you miss your connection your ticket becomes invalid and you would have to pay
a change fee up to $75.00 for a new ticket
also the greyhound station in los angles is avVERY VERY VERY DANGEROUS
people have been killed and raped there

too bad you should have taken amtrak -know why- its ONE TRAIN DIRECT FROM LOS ANGELES
TO CHICAGO no change of buses and no chance of missing one
x|||Greyhound has 5 daily schedules from Los Angeles to Chicago, and from your itinerary it appears that you chose the 8:15 am departure. This particular schedule takes you to Denver on a Greyhound owned and operated bus. In Denver you will transfer to another independent bus company under contract to Greyhound which will take you to Omaha. Then you will again transfer to a Greyhound owned and operated bus to Chicago. Had you selected the 6:15 pm departure you would have been on the same Greyhound owned bus all the way. Your return trip seems to be on a Greyhound owned buss all the way.

If you travel on Greyhound in the future take note of the "Carrier Code" when reserving your tickets. A "Carrier code" of "GLI" indicates a Greyhound owned bus driven by a Greyhound trained driver.
